The candidate / Student must have passed the 12th examination with good percentage and it is necessary to have Biology as a major subject in r12th , only below a percentage of 60 the candidate can apply for the NEET examination.
What is the age limit for NEET exam ?
For applying in NEET EXAMINATION
The candidate must be in the minimum age of 17 years to maximum age of 25 years . it is for the OBC and General Category . Further if you belongs to SC / ST category then you can be the candidate of NEET Exam till the age of 30 years.
Subject you need to study well before giving the NEET Exam –
As I already tell you that this entrance exam is for admission in Medical collage . The subject which you need to study are Physics , Chemistry , Biology the subject Biology is Divided in two parts i.e. Zoology and Botany .
Total marks in NEET Exam & Exam Pattern
Total marks in NEET Exam is 720 marks in which there are 45 questions. Each question paper is of 180 marks and each question is of 4 marks . The NEET Exam is in Pen and paper mode i.e. offline mode. The timing of exam is 3 hours . the candidates has 1 minute to answers a question of each subject. The questions you did wrong there is negative marking of that questions in NEET Examination. Just understand this negative marking with an example, if a candidate gives a correct answer, 4 marks will be given to him, but for 1 wrong answer, 1 mark will be minused . so that 1 marks is minused from that right question for that right questions that candidate has get 3 marks only.
The Good news for Hindi medium students is that the NEET Exam is Conducted in Both the languages i.e. ENGLISH as well as HINDI .
The application form fees for NEET Exam –
The application fee of this exam is Rs 1500 for General category candidates, while Rs 1400 for General EWS and OBC applicants and for ST / SC the fee is Rs 800 .
